I can't shutdown win2000

thierry

I can't shutdown my machine( under win2K AdvSrv sp3) because
in the logon windows, i have only 'log off' item. There
are no 'shutdown' option, no 'hibernate' option. I had to
reinstall my machine. Do you have any idea about this ?

If your server is DC, someone might had set the following policy at the
domain level:
Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policy\User
Rights
Assignment\Shut down the system.
The only members here were domain admins.

This would overwrite the local policy which allows Power Users, and local
admins to
shut down the system.
