I keep getting the message that to save the page and gallery, I have to opren
a FrontPage based site and save the page to that site. I can't find any
answers anywhere. Anyone have any suggestions??????

That means you don't have a web open in FrontPage.

You must create a web. Move all of the images to a location such as a
folder inside the web.
Then create the new photo gallery page inside the folder.

That actually is the answer...you have to save the gallery within a FP
web/site. You can't just create it as a "loose" page.
Open your web/site, create your gallery on a page, then save.

I have already created a rather large web site for my school but I used
FrontPage 2000. I now have installed and am using Front Page 2003.
I created the new page in the same folder as all the rest of the pages but
it won't save. I did what was suggested and created a new web and it actually
works fine but I need to have everything in the one folder (already created)
for FTP purposes.
I also recreated the page from scratch and no luck.
Any suggestions on how to transfer the newly created (working page) from My
Web folder to my IS 220 folder?
I have just spent about 4 hours working on this and can't seem to get it
right ....

Sounds like your web site that it's not working in is not a frontpage
web/site. The folder it's contained in should have a blue globe on it if it
is a fp web.

You should not create loose pages, you should always work within the opened
FP web (opened by FP not Explorer).

If you have loose pages/images you should Import them into your FP web
(from within FP).

Sorry dunno what you mean by; IS 220 folder.

And be careful using FTP, if your website is using FP extensions ftp will
break them.
