Lately I've been having trouble too with the web interface.
Click on the Sign Out button towards the upper right.
Next click on the Micorsoft Disscussion Groups Home label up towards the
left under Microsoft.
Next click on the Edit My Profile icon next to the Help /Sign Out.
Once you sign in for the Profile, you should be able to go back to the
discussion that you are interested in.
People using news readers such as Outlook Express aren't having this problem.
