I can't remove w32.pinfi - please help

Please can anyone help?

I have found this virus on 6 files using Nortons anti virus.
Can't remove, quarantine or delete them.
I have tried turning off system restore, re-booting, and turning system
restore on again - to no avail!

I remember fixing a problem such as this some time ago by setting the
computer to a previous time befire it was attacked, but forget how I did it!!

Appreciate any help.

If you have a name for the bug, then you must be using an anti-virus
that isn't doing the job on this particular malware. Go to Panda or
Trend Micro for a one-time online scan.

Thanks very much for your help.
I use Norton Internet Security and find this very useful up to now.
Had not heard of Pandasoftware before, but it certainly did the trick.
Once Panda had 'disinfected' files, I ran Norton Antivirus and the virus had
gone.
Is this a better software then Norton?

that is subject to opinion.. it's more a matter of who's techhies worked
out thefix first and got it posted. they all come out ahead of each other
once in awhile
