I cant reboot....help...

I dont know what happen but my windows xp stuck.When i
try to reboot they froze up at the welcome sign and
nothing happens after that.....

while booting windows, unplug your computer after you

get the xp loading logo and before it freezes, on your
next boot you should have a new screen that give you boot
options, choose to run system restore or boot in safe
mode and then restore.
Just a theory.

Hi Charles,

At boot, hit F8 and get the boot menu. Choose the last known good
configuration and see if that helps.

I did that but it didnt work....
I try recover also and didnt work...
I try to reinstall windows from the boot menu(cd rom
device)...and know it says NTLDR IS MISSING(some files
dint copy right)....any ideas...??

Hi,

Boot the recovery console, from the prompt run:

copy X:\I386\ntldr C:\

Assuming that C is your boot drive. Replace X with whatever letter is
assigned your CD drive.
