I can't play Renegade!!!

i bought renegade, and saw all the minimum requireds, my
PC comtable to it, i mean it match to all the requireds.
Command And Conquer Renegade Support windows Xp,but i
can't install it, it says that there has been error, how
can i fix it?????????????????????????

The Error is that it cannot load the setup, but when i
had win 98 it could, do u know any soulotion?
