I can't open my options window under tools

My Outlook 2003 will receive mail however I cannot create new mail or forward
etc. Also, I can't type in Word or create a new document. I can't even open
my Options menu (grey'd out). Is there anything I can do? I already tried
to re-install. It didn't work.

I have exactly the same problem. This morning everything was working fine.
When I log on this evening, I can received my e-mails ok, move them or delete
them, but if I try to reply, forward or send a new e-mail, the actions are
not available. Neither is the option under tools. And Outlook is activated.
