I can't open a report because an expression/macro can't be found

I was trying to create a sum text box in a 2003 Access Report. The
"expression" created is now being referred to as a macro and I get the
following message when I try to open a report:
Microsoft Access can't find the macro ' + [ ]+ [ ].'

How do I get rid of the expression/macro so I can open the report

Can't you open the report in design view and correct your mistake? I expect
you have entered your expression into some event property.

Thank you Duane. I can open it in Design view, but I can not find the "event
property"

You replied quite quickly so apparently you didn't open the properties
window, view the events tab, and then click on each control and section to
find your problem.

Duane, again thank you. I have tabbed through every item in the report and
checked the properties for each one. The event tab is blank for each one.
What am I missing?

I would run the database documenter and include every object and property. I
think you should be able to save this to Word where you can search for the
+ [ ]+ [ ].
