i can't install vista

i install vista i get the compleet setup produce after a whyle he saying
installing vista then screen is goining black cursor in left upper corner and
after 1 uhr stil nothing
i reboot and start myn xp en look to the drive and see all files on it
myn hardware is a gigabyte ds4 mainboard vista ready
video card is 7950gx2 vista ready gigabyte
2 gig of mem i want to test vista

can sombody help me please

Before installing Vista remove all USB hardware peripherals, i.e., USB
printer, DSL modem, card reader, Web cam etc.

You also don't say whether you are attempting to dual boot your machine. You
say you want to 'test' Vista. From this i assume you already have Windows XP
installed? Are you attempting to upgrade from XP to Vista or have you
created a new partition on which to install Vista, thus creating a dual boot
situation, i.e., Windows XP and Vista?
