I can't get rid of the information bar in IE6
Every time when I browse to:
- a local website on D:\ or C:\
OR
- a local website on my CD-ROM
I get the information bar which is warning me for active content.
I did some research and I found out these options do the trick:
Internet options - Advanced - Security -
Allow active content from cd's to run on my computer
Allow active content to run in files on my computer
I checked both the options.
Unfortunately it had no effect.
I also checked the registry keys and they had the right values.
Is there tweak software or something else that can let me get rid of
information bar?
Should I reinstall something?
Should I uninstall something?
Thanks in advance,
Bas
