I can't drag files to my DVD

My Sony DRU510 came with Sonic DLA software that does just that. Yours
might have something similar. I don't know if XP has a means of handling
this type of use by itself, though.

Windows XP does not natively support recording files to a DVD unless
you purchase and install a third-party DVD recording program.
