I can't delete e-mail messages. What is wrong?

When I highlight a message then click "Delete", the button goes back to
normal but nothing is deleted. The same thing happens if I highlight then
press the "Delete" button on my keyboard. I am using Outlook Express 6.

Note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.
