Hi All,

I can't connect a Windows XP computer to a Windows 2000
computer running ICS (on the Win2k).

WinXP can ping the Win2k and use the internet via the ICS
on the Win2k.
WinXP can't connect to shares or printers on Win2k even
with all the correct permisions. (Note: there was no
problem the first few days after I installed a fresh copy
of Win2k, then it started to refuse the WinXP connection).
Win2k can connect just fine to the WinXP.

What could be the problem?

Thanks in advance,
Adir

No there is no firewall running on either computer.

Any other sugetions? This is not the first time I've come
by this problem and though reinstalling Win2k solves the
problem that shouldn't be the way to do it.

Make sure both computers are in the same workgroup and both have all the
useraccounts that you use.
Also turn off the firewall on the XP.

if using net view \\w2kname command, what do you get?
