I cannot type in my Excel program. The Font and size area is shad.

The font area and size of font area is shaded. And, I cannot type inside my
Excel program. It was working this morning. I am not sure if I hit a key
that has blocked me out. Please help
 
Is the worksheet protected? Does this problem occur in all
workbooks or only a specific workbook?
