Hi, I'm Hoping someone can help me, i have set up a new email account I can
recieve mail but i keep getting this message when i try to send mail,

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'UK
Vineyards Map - Distribution List', Account: 'POP3.zippymail.co.uk', Server:
'smtp.zippymail.co.uk', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '451 Your ip address
does not have reverse dns setup, please contact your system administrator',
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 451, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

any help would be gratefully recieved!!!!!!!
regards, Christine

Essentially the error message is saying that you are connecting to
the Internet from a flaky, untrusted connection. Are you sending from
home? If so, who is your home ISP, and why aren't you using their
SMTP server?

well its at work, i have plugged an ethernet cable into our router for
cameras, i dont know who the ISP is, how can i find out, Thank You!!

You can go here: http://whatismyip.com and it will tell you what
your assigned IP address is. Post it here, and I can do a lookup
that tells me who the ISP is.
However, it is not likely that you can influence the system administrator
at the office to improve their network configuration, so you may have
to employ a workaround. When sending from the office, I suggest
you use webmail.
