I had NO problem sending and receiving email to MS Outlook 2002 before the
company I work for switched over the servers for email. I adjusted the new
email account setting and now I cannot send email. The message I get is:
!Task 'Frameworks Institute-sending and receiving'reported error
(0x8004210B): 'The operation timed out waiting for a response from sending
(SMPT) server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your
serveradministrator or ISP.

Also, when the Oulook Send/Receive Progress bar comes up it keeps saying: 0
of 15,16,17 (keeps going).........taks have successfully completed and this
runs all day once I hit Send/Receive. All emails are stuck in my Outbox and
the email description in the outbox looks a little funny. The font is
italicized and looks a little fuzzy.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me. I was able to
send/receive emails a week ago into Outlook 2002 with no problem. Thanks

They are Italic in the outbox whilst waiting to be sent.
Assuming you've double checked the account settings
You may need to create a new Profile, via Mail applet in the control panel -
dont copy old profile
