i cannot see anything

that is that today i rebooted my computer and after that i see my
desktop for a minute then i cannot see my taskbar and my desktop.plz

Can you boot up in Safe mode by pressing F8 repeatedly as you boot? Then
try system restore back to a date when it worked OK?
