i cannot remember my windows password

i got a new lap top...and i never finished moving all my
files..i just installed a wireless network and tried to
use it to move the balance of my files...but i cannot get
my old lap top to open windows with what i thought was my
password...or any password i can remember using...is there
anyway to fix this?

Did you get an answer? My wife did the same thing.
forgot what she changed her password too.
