i cannot find a particular folder on my hardrive

Their hidden. Just type them in the address bar

EG In D & S\User

Address bar says
user

postpend

\local settings
 
On my HP computer i was cleaning up my harddrive when i logged on to my
user account (computer administrator) from the original account (owner)
and when i opened the folder with my name on it some folders were
missing (local setting, my recent documents etc.) Can anybody give me
an answer?

Go to Control Panel and double click on Folder Options. Click
on the View tab. Make sure you've selected "Show Hidden Files
and Foldrers". Click OK.
