G garfield-n-odie [MVP] Jun 19, 2009 #2 Close Word, and start regedit. Browse to the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\NoRecentDocsHistory" key. If the key value is set to binary 01 00 00 00, then change the value to binary 00 00 00 00.
