I cannot add new appointments in Outlook

Error message: "The form required to view this message cannot be displayed."
 
i actually get no error message when this happens, nothing in event logs
either. just form doesn't open. i have called the end user, but as per the
usual, not available at this time.

anything else you all think it could be?
it will sync from his blackberry, if that helps at all.
 
update clearing the cache did not work, any other ideas. i kind of need this
resolveasap, president of company..balh blah blah
