I can send messages but not receive them

I get the error message: Reported error (0x800CCC90) Incoming (POP3) email
server has reported an internal error. -ERR The requested message is no
longer available. It may have been deleted.
This is a company email address and I have check other users settings for
Outlook and they all match what I have so I know it is set up correctly. I
have tried all other suggestions on this site and none of them work.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?

It sounds like either there is a problem on the server or Outlook and the
server disagree on what has been downloaded. Were this happening to me, I'd
create a new mail profile, pointing it at my existing PST so that I don't
lose anything.
