I can recieve messages but not send them

I have searched this board and gone through all the other similar discussions
but found nothing that helped.

I just installed Outlook XP on my computer and setup the new e-mail account
in outlook. When I click "Test Account Settings" everything checks out fine,
but it is not able to send a test e-mail.

When I click 'Send/Recieve' it recieves e-mails fine, but will not send
them. I get the error message 0x800CCC0F which states, "connection to the
server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server
administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

I have the exact same setting on my computer and work and everything works
fine.

If it helps any my ISP is SBC Yahoo DSL.

I also tried turning off my firewall, and that made no difference.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Disable the Outlook integration of your virusscanner as well and try again.

Then you didn't look very well, as this question has been asked and answered
hundreds of times.
