The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'yo', Account:

25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I need help. Thank you.

Check your "default" settings. Click 'start'; 'default programs' and choose
the email program you want as your default from the list on the left. This
will allow emails to be sent. I hate Vista.

I did that and still nothing. mine is telling me my smtp server is not
responding. Does anyone know what that means? Do I need to call my internet
provider?

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Subject 'Re: Happy Halloween', Account: 'pop.east.cox.net',
Server: 'smtp.east.cox.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error
Number: 0x800CCC0F

the long period of inactivity is not it....

"Unexpected" termination is usually cause by a non-compatible antivirus
or other security program. Uninstall the culprits and try Windows Mail again.
