I can not send from Micro Soft Word directly to an E-Mail. Why?

I can scan or photo dicectly to E-Mail. Why can't I E-mail directly from
Micro Soft Word? Running Vista.
 
You've given us no information to help diagnose the issue. Like which
version and what program you use for email.
