I can not send emails and I keep getting error message

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'blh', Account:
'IMAP.telus.net', Server: 'SMTP.telus.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
this is the meassage can any one help me I call telus and get no help
 
At the time you got that error message, was your Internet connection being
obtained from Telus? Or were you on a laptop away from home?
