I can no longer send and receive email from Outlook 2003.

but I can no longer receive or send email from Outlook 2003. I get a Pop3
error message. I have tried the repair feature with no luck. I do have
Internet access and I am using Comcast as ISP but they do not support
Outlook. Any suggetions?

What message do you receive?

connection to the server was interupted. If this problem continues, contact
your server admin or ISP. The server responded: _ERR AVG POP3 Proxy Sever:
Cannot connect to mail server!'

As it turns out I can send email thru OL but not receive. Should I
uninstall Office and then reinstall?

Try turning off your virus scanner's mail integration. The AVG part of the
error message seems to point to it

It was in fact the AVG that caused the problem. I had to uninstall it
altogether to fix the problem. Thanks very much for your help!
