I am unable to save documents in WORD. How can I troubleshoot?

I am unable to save WORD documents. This is a recent issue. It has always
been possible in the past. What could be causing this? I need suggestions
to troubleshoot this issue. Thanks.
 
Have you activated Word or are you using an expired trial copy?
