I am trying to send a powerpoint presentation,

I am trying to send a powerpoint presentaion. When i email it as an
attachment it doesn't show the slide show, i have to go to the slide show tab
and click on view presentation, i want to know how i can send it and it start
showing with out the menu bar on the side.

Change the file extension to .PPS and it will open in Slide Show mode. You can
also save the presentation in PowerPoint as "PowerPoint Show (*.PPS)".

Use the rename function. Go to My Computer, locate the file, right click it and
select Rename. Or, open the presentation in PowerPoint and immediately go to
File > Save As and save it as a "PowerPoint Show (*.PPS)".

How do i change it?

Rename it in Windows Explorer (but it may be that Win Explorer's set not to show you
file extensions, so you may not be able to see what to change).

As Sonia says, just open it in PPT and do File, Save As and pick PowerPoint Show as
the save as type.
