Firefox rocks. I only use IE for sites that insist like Windows Update
nowadays. Download it and you'll never use IE again.

Use a newsgroup reader instead of clunky IE. Outlook Express will do and
Forte Agent is even better.

I want to fix IE6 so that it does not result in blocking access to any URL
that I select. It is obvious that I can get to the site with another browser
if I want to.

Don't repost as a new message just because you don't like the answers -
besides it was only a few minutes, others will respond. When you
repost you break up the thread and it's hard to follow what others have
offered. The people who participate here are all volunteers from around
the world. Be patient. It takes at least 24 hours or more for the
message to circulate.

Regardless of how many times you post this question, you will get the same
answer.. use a newsreader like Outlook Express..

Do you have active scripting disabled in IE. It's in Internet
Options>Security Tab>Custom Level. Is that it? Please post back.

If a reply doesn't help you, then reply to it, explaining why it
doesn't help and what you're looking for. Do *not* start over
again with a new message. That just fragments the conversation,
and confuses the issue.

map444, we're still waiting! (You posted your questions real fast). If it
didn't work tell us so others can be helped.

Well then, simply configure IE's security settings the same way you've
configured the other browser. After all, you're the one presumably in
control of your own computer and how it's configured.

OK guys. I got a clue when Firefox produced the same result IE6.
Apparently, I needed to sign out of the .net passport in order to get back
in. I did not know this. I signed out and signed in again and got back to
the group. I will sign out and IE6 will probably be back in business also.
I don't know why any one in this group couldn't help me with this.

Because you didn't give enough information and what you did
give had to be drug out of you.

Because they AREN'T mindreaders and didn't have a webcam looking over
your shoulder to see what you were doing, AND YOU didn't give ANY
usefull info that would lead to a correct guess as to what you had done.
