I always have the top of the form in hiding when opened

I've created a form with 5 tabs at the top of the page. Everytime I close
the form and re-open it, the form shows up with the scroll bar NOT in the
uppermost position, thus hiding my top tabs. Any solution for this?

Dear Pro:

I take it the form is opening with the top "scrolled down" so the top is not
visible.

I believe the form is simply "saved" this way. Next time you open the form,
scroll it so the top is visible and click the "save" icon (looks a bit like
a floppy disk, near the upper left). Close the form and open it again.
Does that fix anything?

If this fixes it, you would need to repeat these steps for every copy, or
make the change in your design master so the change arrives everywhere next
time the system is distributed. If you do not change the design master this
way, everyone will be scrolling and saving whenever a new copy is
distributed, so this is the big one to take care of.

This doesn't seem to be doing the trick. i tried this ad nauseum when the
problem started manifesting itself to no avail. I remember having this issue
in the past and simply "lived with" having to scroll down to see hidden
information. However, I'll be having various users on this form and if they
don't see the upper tabs, they don't enter the data!
Thanks for replying!

I have seen two things contribut to this. And I seem to see the problem
more on forms that have a Tab control.

1) I have found that I have to be real careful what menu bars I have
open when doing the editing and saving of the form, because Access will
remember them and try to open them and if they don't fit well they
become MULTIPLE menu bar lines which then reduces the amount of working
space.

2) If the vertical height of the Tab control is too high for the
resolution (in combination with the above comment) then the tabs tend
to get hidden under the top section. So the solution here might be to
make the tab control height smaller.
a) the next consideration on this is what item is getting the
focus when the form is opened. Access wants to go to that item and if
it means that it has to shift the form up it will do so. Maybe, in
conjunction with the tab height change, try to have something near the
TOP of the form get the focus (Change the tab order on the form and/or
set the focus when the form is opened.)

Hope this gives you some ideas to get a resolution. I would be
interested in what / if you do find a resolution.
