I added a word to the dictionary, how do I erase it?

I added a teacher's name to the dictionary so that if I miss spell it, it
will be corrected. I miss spelled it when I put it in the dictionary, now I
have two choices in the dictionary, the wrong way and the right way. The
problem is what if I forget which is which?
Also, when I was younger I would add words that really aren't words and now
I have to be extra careful as I edit that all the words that wrote really are
words.
How can I delete the words I added to the dictionary?
Thanks,
Maddy

Hi Maddy

Tools > Options. On the Spelling & Grammar tab, click Custom Dictionaries.
Choose your custom dictionary and click Modify. The rest is obvious.

Hope this helps.
