The hzrhzlfep.exe program starts running on my computer at startup. I
can't find it either in the registry or by a simple file search. What
is it and how can I find where it is running from?

Thanks,
Akshat

Click Start | Run | MSConfig | Startup tab. Uncheck it

Thanks for the advice. I have PC-cillin 2000 (from Sony) and it didn't
pick up anything. I've discovered that I can't install anything on my
machine so I haven't been able to install a version of the Norton
Anti-virus program. It just hangs (as does Adobe Acrobat reader, and
the JAVA applets I used to run from the MSN Gaming sites). The event
viewer doesn't show anything odd either.

Does this sound like a problemn that anybody's heard of before. I'm
pretty much resigned to formatting my hard drive and re-installing
everything but if anybody's got some suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Akshat

PS The MSConfig suggestion didn't work either.
