hyperterminal is listed as empty on program menu

Hyperterminal is listed as empty. Can't find it under
add windows components and can't find it on any other
menu or in help. What has happened to my hyperterminal
software? It is listed on the start menu programs list,
but it is designated as empty when I click it on. The
manufacturer said it was Microsoft problem. They said it
was HP computers problem. HP said it was manufacturers
prob. Ring around the rosy and no hyperterminal.
Someone please help me. Holly My win '98 on old
computer never had a problem with this.

Hi -

You should find hyperterminal under Start --> All
Programs --> Accessories --> Communications. If it's not
on your start menu you can create a shortcut to the
program - it's located at

C:\Program Files\Windows NT\hypertrm.exe
