hyperlinks

I cannot open any hyperlinks in outlook 2007, they are active and can be
reached by MIE. How di I cure this to just click on link and open it?
 
I also cannot open menu items in MIE so more than just Outlook 2007

This doesn't seem like an Outlook problem any more.
