When someone on a forum puts in a link, say to a web page and the link is
wider than the forum page why does it resize the forum page we are reading,
(so that you have to scroll horizontaly to see the whole link) is there any
way that IE on W XP can continue the link address on the next line as it does
using Opera.

For an example read here-

Microsoft CDO for Windows 2000 is akin to bear skins and stone knives.

Do yourself a favor and setup a real newsreader.

Outlook Express came free with XP.

You will later wonder why you didn't setup OE as your newsreader sooner.

This is my first visit to this group and I'm praying that you can help!!!!!
(By the way, I can't seem to post a "new" question, but this reply feature
may work, and the subject line is similar to my question - sorry if it's a
cross-post) QUESTION: I cannot open any of the hyperlinks included in any e
mail message I receive in Outlook Express. I've gone to support and received
document kbprb KB823301, which gives a resolutionl. However, I cannot make
the last command work (regsvr32 msjava.dll). I can open attachments with no
problem. Please help!!!!! Thanks - PAT

msjava.dll is part of Microsoft Java Virtual Machine and I doubt very much
that you even have msjava.dll on your machine. There was a lawsuit between
Sun and Microsoft, XP SP1a and later do not have msjava.dll. That is
probably why registering msjava.dll does not work.

See if one of these will help.

PAT,

It depends on what is actually screwed up. There can be many things that
cause the problem.

Start with easy stuff first, then if still not fixed try some of the harder
items.

Most of the more experienced posters here do not use CDO/Internet Explorer
and could probably care less about the problem. ;-)

Outlook Express wraps the links to the window size instead of making a
really wide window.
