Hyperlinks

I am using Microsoft Office 2000 and Microsoft Windows
2000. I am having problems getting my hyperlinks to work
properly. When I click on the link it just brings up the
hourglass like as if the file is going to open, but never
does. Has anyone else ever had this same problem?

Hi Jodi,
First question: Has the link worked in the past? I
would assume 'yes', and that this is a new symptom for an
old link. If this is a new link and just isn't working
for you, you probably need to check the target to make
sure it's properly named and available.
Second question: Where does the link point? Your
spreadsheet? Local file (on your computer)? A network
server? Someplace else?
The symptom you describe sounds like a busy or offline
server, or a bad pathname, possibly a drive name alias
whose name has changed recently.

Please post back with more info.
