I have a couple of Database that use hyperlinks to link to PDF files. When I
try to create a new hyperlink I browse the network creating the UNC path to
the file I want. However, I receive the following hyperlink
"..\..\..\foldername\foldername\foldername\foldername\PDF file" which is
wrong.

I can manually change the ..\..\..\ to the \\servername\, but I can't ask my
users to do this. Does anyone know whats causing this and how to fix it?

How are you browsing for that UNC path? I'm unaware of any place where
Access uses the ..\..\ notation.

I am doing an InsertHyperlink command within the form, which brings up a
insert hyperlink window. Then I browse through Network Neighborhood to
create the UNC path.
