I have created an intranet using Frontpage 2000 at my workplace. Most of the links in the intranet are to documents in our file system eg. checklists and letters etc.

When I have published the intranet to the server http://intranet, which was set up by our network person (who is not available at present) the linnks to the documents do not work and I get an error - "HTTP 404 - File not found"

It appears that the documents are not publishing along with the web

The documents must be imported into the web, in order to be published

Thanks Thomas, I had just worked that out however for some reason there are errors so I'll have to wait for our network administrator anyway.

When viewing in a browser, when you over a hyperlink what do you see in the
status bar at the bottom left of the browser window??

I see the path to the document eg. g://intranet draft/admin/docname.

The message I am receiving when attempting to import the files says:

"An error occurred accessing your frontpage web files. Authors - if authoring against a web server, please contact the webmaster for this server's site. Webmasters please see the server's system log for more details."

I think that there may be some security issues happening although I haven't struck this problem before. We have installed a new firewall which prevented my hover buttons from working and maybe it's also causing this problem????
