hyperlinks in E'link email won't work, suddenly.

Always worked in past. E'link suspects antivirus (Trend
Micro, PCillin 2000), but never had a problem b4! Any idea.
Hyperlinks in body of messages will not connect, or start
the browser. Mouseover reacts to link but nothing happens
when doubleclicked. Any ideas on where to start looking?
 
You have IE set as the default browser? Tools,Internet Options,
Programs, Check box at bottom.
