Hyperlinks do not work after I copy and paste.

I use to be able to copy and paste URL's as hyperlinks.
Now when I copy and paste they do not show up as
hyperlinks just a URL address. Are there other ways to
copy hyperlinks? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
