I'm trying to create a hyperlink to a template, but I want the template to
open up as a new document instead of as a read only template like it is now.
Any way possible for this to happen. I would appreciate the help. Thanks.

Hi Joseph,

You'll need to link to Windows shortcut file (.lnk) to do that
using the instructions in this article.

I am trying to do the same thing but want the hyperlink to originate from a
cell in Excel. I tried the instructions below but template .dot still comes
up when the link is clicked. Any ideas?
