Does anyone know if it is possible to set anchor points of some sort (maybe
bookmarks) in word 2003 documents and then access them from a regular web
page? I want to keep the Word document in Word format for a variety of reasons

Theres not any reason why a bookmark to a section of a Word document
(EX: http://yourdomain.com/yourfolder/Word.doc#section ) wouldn't work
PROVIDED the visitor has the same Word version or higher installed on their
computer.

It's no different linking to a Word doc than it is to an image, PDF or page,
which are all dependent upon which software's the visitor has installed.

Thanks lostinspace, this does the job perfectly!

You don't know Robbie the Robot by any chance?

"You don't know Robbie the Robot by any chance?"

I have two rather large websites and spend plenty of time monitoring my
visitor logs.
There are hordes and hordes of bots and scarpers under an unlimited number
of names.
Robbie doesn't ring and a bell, but then I don't try to remember them all.

If the Robbie reference was in relation to the old TV show?
This pseudo I use is a result of when I first began creating web pages with
Front Page Express. I was using FPE in a very limited capacity and basically
as a text editor.

This conflict confused both the FrontPage people and the html purists. So
in effect I was lost between two worlds or in space :-))
