Hyperlink to a certain page in ppt

Hello, I have a hyperlink to my ppt file within word and I would like to edit
it to open to a certain page in ppt. Is this possible?

Hi Velo

Put a # and the slide number at the end of the hyperlink so it looks
something like this: C:\folder\presentation.ppt#4

Hi Lucy, that worked! One more question, I would also like to know how to
link to a page in a pdf. Do you know how to do this? I tried adding #4 at
the end of the hyperlink to the pdf and it did open to pg 4.

Last time I looked into it, you could do more or less the same thing, but only
if the PDF is on a web server.
