Hyperlink Sort

Hello,

I am having some trouble getting Excel 2003 sort to work correctly with
hyperlinks. I entered a hundred rows of data, where one of the columns
contains hyperlinks to files on my computer. When I try to sort my
data by the first column, the text of the hyperlinks changes as it
should, but when I click on it, I end up opening the file that was
previously linked to from that cell. It seems like the actual links in
the cell never get sorted...

Is there a way around this?

I'd dump the Insert|Hyperlink type of hyperlinks and use the =hyperlink()
worksheet function in a separate cell.
