Hyperlink Question

Hi. I have a MS WORD (OFFICE 2003) doc with many hyperlinks. When I hover
the mouse over a link a message appears which says to hold down the Control
Key and then click with the mouse to access the link. It used to be I could
simply click on the link without this extra step. Which happened? How can I
turn off this unnecessary step (holding down the Control Key)? Thanks.
 
Try TOOLS > OPTIONS > EDIT and turn off the 'Use CTRL+CLICK' option.
