hyperlink - link one cell to another in a worksheet. how?

I'm attempting to make a reference page, link cells at the top of the
worksheet linked to single cells further down. The hyperlink options dont
seem to have a simple solution so i figure there must be some syntax or
something i'm just not aware of... When hyperlinking, there is the option to
link to a "place in this document" but only broad links. i.e. to a worksheet,
but not a specific cell. is there some sytax to type in the "Type the cell
reference:" that will allow me to specify the cell to link in the same
worksheet?

press Ctrl & K
this takes you to the hyperlink menu and work from there, you will be
able to hyperlink directly to another cell

Dear Guest,

From what I understand, you already know how to navigate to the Hyperlink Menu and to move on to the "Place In This Document" link.

Notice the second field from the top? It reads "Type the cell reference:" There's no syntax to this. You can choose any one of your worksheets (could even be the active one) and provide the cell reference in this field e.g. A32, W444, etc.

I do hope this is what you were looking for. If not, I'm sorry for having made you read through all that.
