Hyperlink Issues

Everyone,

The site is www.neha.org. I'm getting a target="main" tag that seems
to be automatically generating and causing issues!! I search and
replace it with nothing and it reappears in the site. Now, I have a
number of hyperlinks that don't work at all, instead of just opening
into a new window, which I don't want either. HELP!!!! I'm reaching
crisis level...

Thanks,

Cristi

You need to open the site in FP, then open each page, then go to html/code view and removing any
<base target="..."> tags then you need to select each hyperlink and set the target value to "Whole
Page" (_top) or "New Window" (_blank).

You should set all PDFs and/or other documents and as well as any external links to open in a New
Window.

Thomas,

I've tried to do that. I'm working on this page specifically to try
to fix the problem: http://www.neha.org/links.html. I've gone in
about 10 times and removed the target="main" tags and made sure there
was not a base target=" " on the page. I save the page, and in FP
it looks like it is fixed. However, when I go to the site live, it
isn't. I view source and it still shows the target="main" as in the
code. I'm feeling more stupid by the minute!

Thanks,

Cristi

Ok, open all of your include pages and remove the base target tag and see if that solve the issue.
