Hyperlink in Contents Page?

Hi,

How can i allow users reading my word document to click on
any of the headings in the Contents Page and get "linked"
to that section selected.

Hi SeRene,

You need to generate the Table of Contents using a TOC field (see under
Insert|Field) and add the \h switch (on the 'options' tab. Note that the TOC
works best if you've formatted the headings with the appropriate Heading
styles or similar.

Hi,
I've never tried this before. Therefore, i'm a bit
confused over what to do. Now i've finished my word
document and i have no idea how to get the linking
started. I've tried using the Help function but i don't
really understand it. Can you enlighten me by telling me
what i should do 1st at this stage??
I've finished my word document and i'm left with the
content page. Do i type out all the contents myself or
will the toc function create 1 for me? How do i actually
format my headings with appropriate heading??

Hi SeRene,

Do *not* type the TOC, Word will build one for you from the text of the
headings. See here for step by step instructions:
