Hyperlink errors

when I cut and paste text I get the hyperlink script ot html address rather
than the text I want. How do I fix this error?
 
If you are seeing field codes such as { HYPERLINK "http://word.mvps.org" }
press Alt+F9 to hide them.

Note that if you are pasting from the web, you may want to paste as
"Unformatted Text" (via the Paste Special dialog box) so that you don't
bring in the hyperlinks in the first place.
